Network Segmentation

A network deployment architecture that devices networks into multiple physical or logical microsegments with different access and control rules that govern the applications and assets that are in each zone. The benefits of this model is that even if the network perimeter is breached by a threat actor, lateral movement within the ecosystem is limited.
