The Kemp LoadMaster Foundations course is an instructor-led training for IT professionals to master the deployment, configuration, and management of LoadMaster.
The first day of this course is designed for IT professionals to master the deployment, configuration, and management of Kemp LoadMaster. Topics include LoadMaster sizing and models, licensing and support, network topologies, traffic management, session persistence, redundancy options, and geo-based load balancing. Participants will gain hands-on experience with key features, including creating virtual services, scheduling, and ensuring high availability through HA configurations.

In Day 2, participants will dive into advanced security and traffic management features. Topics include configuring security options, setting up the Web Application Firewall (WAF), using Let’s Encrypt for SSL certificates, integrating with Kubernetes, exploring Quality of Service (QoS), and network telemetry. Attendees will also learn about content switching and how to implement the Edge Security Pack (ESP) for enhanced security.
Hands-on labs will guide participants through WAF configuration and content switching setup, ss well as ESP configuration to ensure secure and optimized traffic flow.
