High Availability and Performance for VMWare Horizon
Kemp LoadMaster delivers increased network performance and reliability by removing single points of failure and optimizing the client security.
To achieve high availability and scalability, VMware recommends that multiple Connection Servers, Identity Manager, App Volume Manager and Unified Access Gateway roles be deployed with a load balancer.
Load Balancing VMware Horizon with LoadMaster
Horizon connectivity is provided by the Connection Server and the Unified Access Gateway. A recommended topology is to deploy load balanced VMware Unified Access Gateways in a DMZ with Connection Servers deployed on the LAN.
