Dell Technologies Demo Center is a highly scalable, multi-cloud-based service that provides 24/7 self-service access to virtual labs, hardware labs, and interactive product simulations, showcasing many products and solutions from across the Dell Technologies product portfolio. Demo Center content is used for one-on-one customer demonstrations, personal learning for employees and partners, and Hands-on Lab events. With a catalog of over 100 Hands-on Labs and Technical Walkthrough (simulation) demos, just about anything in the Dell Technologies portfolio can be experienced at Demo Center making this service one of the most important to sales, partners and customers during this time where onsite and in person visits are limited. Ensuring the Demo Centre was highly available and secure was of course of utmost importance to the team and they choose Kemp as part of the overall solution to ensure its success.

The Challenge

The Dell Technologies Demo Center needed to be secure from application layer attacks and available at all times to all staff, customers and partners throughout the globe. The strict internal IT security audits were top of mind and the team needed an easy solution to run daily checks while also focusing on application availability.

The Kemp Solution

The Kemp WAF provides continuous protection against vulnerabilities with daily rule updates based on threat intelligence and research from Trustwave. The Kemp WAF provides protection from a broad range of attack categories incl. Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) etc., against web applications and allows for HTTP traffic monitoring and real-time analysis of traffic.
