With pooled licensing, organizations can deploy LoadMaster instances across their infrastructure on demand. The pool capacity can be issued in any mix of license sizes ranging from 500 MB to 10 GB. These licenses can be assigned based on requirements and recovered to the license pool when no longer in use. This greatly reduces the administrative overhead of license procurement.
What features are included with Subscription Pooled License?
Subscription Pooled Licensing includes LoadMaster 360 and all features of the Enterprise Plus tier, such as GSLB, Zero Trust Gateway, application analytics, user insights, Enhanced WAF, WAF rule tuning, false-positive identification, and 24x7x365 support.
What is Perpetual Licensing?
Perpetual licenses permanently enable a LoadMaster for usage at the specified performance levels. This licensing approach is suited to organizations that have defined usage requirements for the product’s planned lifetime and wish to limit upfront costs while amortizing over the plan lifecycle.
The perpetual license offers flexible deployment options and standard support with firmware updates and security fixes. It also includes all the core load balancing functions, such as Layer 4/7 load balancing, advanced SSL capabilities, traffic rate limiting and QoS, and intrusion prevention. Advanced features and functionality, such as WAF, GSLB and ESP, are available with specific support subscription tiers – Enterprise and Enterprise Plus.
