Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI)

The hardware and software components that are combined to deliver a platform upon which virtualized network functions can be deployed. NFVI platforms are comprised of generic hardware, virtualization software, and management software components. They are highly configurable and allow for rapid reconfiguration of the virtual networks they host.
