Microsoft Windows Server 2016

The latest release of Microsoft’s core application platform operating system that scales from a single server to the largest Enterprise data center deployments. It is also Hybrid Cloud ready and can be fully integrated into Microsoft Azure and other Cloud based platforms as required. It contains the features and functionality required to run traditional Windows Server workloads plus Microsoft and third party applications, while also having new features and functionality that makes it easy to transition to the Cloud.   Microsoft Windows Server 2016 includes support for DevOps workflow integration and has container support, PowerShell scripting and automation, headless deployment with Nano Server, and support for .NET frameworks to ensure existing applications can be run. The release is also highly secure with built in support for protecting virtual machines, protection for administration accounts with Just-In-Time Administration and Just Enough Administration that only provides admin rights for a set time period, and access to just the resources needed for a task.
