Hybrid Cloud is a term used to describe two types of often overlapping cloud computing models. In the first sense it is used to describe a model where server resources hosted in an organisations data centre are enhanced and augmented with server resources from cloud providers. A second use is when various cloud based resources from multiple public and private cloud service providers are used together to provide computing services. In many cases the line between these uses of the term Hybrid Cloud is blurred. An example is deploying Microsoft Exchange across local servers and Office 365 with a KEMP Loadmaster using Microsoft AD FS to provide single sign-on.
