Blacklist

A Blacklist is a persistent list of network nodes and IP Addresses that are denied access to a set of network resources. Blacklists are usually used by perimeter firewalls that control access into a network. Any request for access has it’s originating address checked against the blacklist, and if a match is found then the access request is denied.
