Hybrid Cloud Architectures

Possible architectures include

• Running an application in the enterprise datacenter or private cloud to handle average loads, while taking advantage of infrastructure at an IaaS or PaaS provider for instant scaling and fast performance under peak loads. This is sometimes called cloud bursting.
• Harnessing public cloud services with global reach to provide access for dispersed mobile users and built-in application disaster recovery, while retaining information and identity control in-house.
• Running applications and information in house and using cloud services as a second and/or third location for disaster recovery only.
