Node

In IT systems the term node can have various meanings. In networking, it refers to a particular device on the network that can send data to other places via routing or is an endpoint for data consumption like a user's PC. When discussed regarding load balancing node is used for each of the members of a server farm, or server pool, as the groups of servers managed by a load balancer is known. There is also a JavaScript runtime called Node.js that developers can build web applications, frameworks, and libraries on top off. Node.js-based web applications can be load balanced using standard techniques.
