HTTP Compression

HTTP Compression is a method for reducing the amount of data that needs to be transferred between web servers and web browser clients. Both the web server and the web browser have to support HTTP Compression. This compatibility is negotiated when a session between a server and a client is set up. If HTTP Compression is not supported than traffic is sent uncompressed.
