ISP

An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a business that provides the base access to the Internet that is needed in order to use Internet services such as Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and for individual sites such as Facebook. Businesses often get their ISP services from a provider such as BT Business or VirginMedia Business in the UK, Verizon FiOS in the USA, and Shaw or Telus in Canada. Many ISP’s also operate locally and resell the access services of the large network carriers in regions, and mobile phone network operators are also ISPs that provide mobile access to the Internet.
