What is VMWorld?
VMWorld is the annual global conference on virtualization and cloud computing hosted by VMWare. In August 2014, the conference was held in San Francisco with a similar conference to be held in Barcelona, Spain October 14-16.
As a VMWare TAP partner, KEMP Technologies announced several new software solutions which will improve performance on VMWare’s cloud platform. Our solutions announced include:
- Virtual LoadMaster (VLM) extended to VMWare vCloud Air This will enable customers to easily scale applications deployed in vCloud Air.
- KEMP Plug-In for VMWare vCenter Operations. This is a dashboard of key metrics, giving VI administrators an improved view of health and risk.
- Optimized Syslog Traffic Handling – A VMWare specific, this new capability ‘balances VMWare Log Insight dynamically across multiple Log Insight collection nodes without having to reboot the collection nodes’.
- KEMP Optimization for VMWare Horizon View This allows both HTTP and PColP to be balanced across a VLM, simplifying administrative setup.
This year Barcelona hosts VMWorld 2014 Europe. In the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, from October 14 -16, a mix of IT technical professionals and decision-makers from organizations of all sizes, representing a wide range of industries will attend the VMWare conference.
Fresh from our success at the San Francisco conference, at the Kemp Technologies booth, NI218, we will be showcasing our new VMWare platform offerings along with our premium range of load balancing and ADC solutions.
You will get information on our full suite of load balancing solutions which support customers’ need for virtual load balancers, hardware load balancers, cloud load balancers and bare metal solutions.
Find out about the KEMP Edge Security Pack (ESP) which delivers a solution using the KEMP LoadMaster line of load balancers, to customers who previously deployed Microsoft’s Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG). As a Microsoft partner we also support Exchange and Lync.
KEMP continually strives to be at the cutting edge of innovations in the industry. Our latest offerings in Software Defined Networking (our VLM ADC allow customers to build application environments which benefit from SDN), and WAF (now integrated with our load balancing operating system) are the results of that commitment.
If all that is not enough to entice you to drop by, there is also the chance to pocket some tasty merchandising or even win a GoPlus camera!
