The countdown to VMworld 2014 is on! KEMP Technologies will be exhibiting at both the US and European shows this year and we’re excited to be a part of it.
At VMworld US in San Francisco (August 24-28), VMware’s Partner Day on the 24th is sure to provide a great opportunity to talk to VMware execs, channel leaders and product teams to get additional insight on upcoming strategy and direction. KEMP is a VMware TAP Elite partner and has greatly benefited from the partner focus, ecosystem and resources that VMware delivers to its network.
VMware is all about disruption and did a great job of it at VMworld last year. They showed us the evolution of the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), brought us NSX, simplified application and desktop virtualization with the latest from Horizon and mapped out the future of vCloud Hybrid Service (vCHS). With KEMP’s keen focus on application delivery in virtualized and cloud environments, these are all technologies that are near and dear to us. As an example, vCloud Hybrid Service provides a natural extension for customers that are looking to expand their private clouds to a hybrid model. vCHS gives customers a cost effective and flexible way to adopt hybrid cloud while transitioning at their own pace and natively supports applications and appliances already deployed on vSphere in the private cloud. Of KEMP’s 22,000+ customer deployments, more than half of those that occurred during the last year were in virtualized infrastructures. Of these customers, many are looking to adopt a hybrid cloud strategy by the end of 2015. KEMP is happy to see the evolution of vCHS making it easier for customers to transition to a hybrid cloud model and we’re looking forward to new announcements at VMworld.
VMware is also making it easier for the enterprise VI (virtual infrastructure) admins to get increased visibility into their environments, find out root cause of problems quicker and take proactive steps to prevent issues and outages with tools like vCenter Log Insight Manager and vCenter Operations Manager. Many of KEMP’s customers have benefited from these technologies in their infrastructure and we’re expecting these tools to keep getting better. Log Insight Manager 2.0, for example, now provides a scale out architecture, machine learning technology and improved data collection performance giving administrators even more insight that can help them optimize their private hybrid clouds.
KEMP continues to forge deeper integration with VMware to provide customers with joint solutions to their business challenges. Many of these, along with new offerings highlighting deeper integration with VMware technologies, will be showcased at VMworld US in San Francisco, CA.
