Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR)

MTTR is the KPI metric that tracks the whole process from when an issue is detected, through the diagnosis of what the problem is, planning on how to address it, and then implementing the plan to return the affected service or equipment to full operational status. MTTR is an after the fact metric used to analyze how procedures dealt with an issue. It can be used to spot any gaps in processes to allow for better responses in the future.
