Centralized Management and Monitoring Platform Compliments Virtual LoadMaster, one of the industry’s Azure-Certified FIPS 140-2 Application Delivery Controller (ADC)
NEW YORK, June 27, 2017 – Kemp Technologies today announced that Kemp360 Central® is now available for Microsoft Azure Government. The solution helps government organizations simplify and streamline application delivery management for hybrid cloud environments running across Azure. Kemp 360 Central’s enterprise-class application delivery management complements the company’s Virtual LoadMaster™ (VLM), which has been a certified solution since 2014 and has grown to become a top Azure Marketplace offering. In the last 12 months alone, VLM for Azure hourly usage has grown by more than 15x.
Kemp 360 Central provides support for application delivery environments with larger numbers of both Kemp and third-party load balancers, including F5 BIG-IP, NGINX, HAProxy and AWS Elastic Load Balancer. Because of Kemp’s unique position as one of the industry’s only FIPS 140-2 application delivery controllers (ADC) certified for Azure, Kemp deployments in FIPS-certified environments have grown substantially over the past year. As a result, the demand for a modern management framework like Kemp 360 Central has also increased.
“Virtual LoadMaster for Microsoft Azure has grown to become a critical solution for larger and more complex Azure deployments, and our continued position as a top Azure Marketplace solution confirms this,” said Jeff Fisher, vice president of Strategic Alliances, Kemp Technologies. “The increasing number of LoadMasters deployed per customer has driven demand for our 360 Central offering. This latest announcement is a direct response to our growing customer base in federal governments worldwide.”
Arpan Shah, General Manager, Cloud Platform Marketing, Microsoft Corp. said, “Microsoft Azure provides Kemp with global scale, a broad portfolio of services, and market-leading data management capabilities. We are pleased to see our mutual customers benefit from the combined power of Kemp and Azure.”
Moving forward, deeper integration of Kemp 360 Central as well as Kemp’s flagship Virtual LoadMaster™ with Azure will continue to enable joint Kemp and Microsoft customers to simplify the migration of applications and services from legacy, on-premises architectures to Microsoft-powered hybrid cloud environments.
