As a fast paced technology company, we recognize the importance of enabling Progress' partners by helping them develop their skills & expertise via on demand training courses and certifications. Progress' partner training program allows you to become sales & technical certified.

Kemp Certified Sales Professional Training

The sales course was created for those partners, who would like to develop some basic Kemp sales skills. The training is divided in to 3 modules and the virtual course takes ~1 hour to complete:

  • Module 1: Load balancing basics, features, platforms, Kemp 360 Central & Vision
  • Module 2: Common use cases, pricing and sizing, sales resources
  • Module 3: Kemp's USP, competitive differentiators, target personas and sales handling

Steps to become Kemp Sales Certified:

  1. Review the Sales Training Modules
  2. Once you finished with the training, complete the Sales Test

Kemp Certified Technical Professional Training

The basic technical training is designed for partner reps with some level of technical expertise. The ~5 hour on demand training focuses on basic configuration, workloads and topologies.

  1. Module 1: Concepts, Features, Sizing and Qualification
  2. Module 2: Initial Configuration, Deployment and Licensing
  3. Module 3: Fundamentals, Deployment Scenarios, Best Practices, High Availability, and Templates
  4. Module 4: An intro to Kemp 360 Central & Vision

Here's how you can get Kemp Technical Certified:

  1. Review the Technical Training Modules
  2. Once ready, complete the Technical Test

Kemp Flowmon Sales Consultant Training

This certified training program was prepared for the Kemp partner sales reps. The training duration is ~2 hours.

The training is divided into five parts:

  • Product Introduction
  • NetOps Use Cases and Benefits
  • SecOps Use Case and Benefits
  • Go-To-Market Best Practices
  • Complementary & Competitive Intelligence

Here are the steps to become a Kemp Certified Flowmon Sales Consultant:

  1. Review the Sales Training chapters
  2. Once you have finished with the training, complete the Sales Consultant Test

Kemp Flowmon Solution Consultant training

This entry level pre-sales and technical training is designed for all Kemp Partners. This course is suitable for technical support, pre-sales consultants, and salespeople and its duration is approximately 6 hours.

The training contains information about:

  • Kemp Flowmon Probe
  • Kemp Flowmon Collector
  • Kemp Flowmon ADS
  • Kemp Flowmon APM
  • Kemp Flowmon Packet Investigator
  • Kemp Flowmon DDoS Defender
  • Use Cases for Kemp Flowmon Solutions
  • Sample Deployments of Kemp Flowmon components
  • Live Demo of Kemp Flowmon Environment

Here are the steps to become a Kemp Certified Flowmon Solution Consultant:

  1. Review the Solution Training chapters
  2. Once you have finished with the training, complete the Solution Consultant Test

Kemp Flowmon Technical Engineer (online)

This technical training is highly advanced and requires Flowmon Sales Engineer certification as a pre-requisite. The course is divided into 4 parts, and each of it has its individual certification via an exam (the only exception is the first one). Exams are organized once every two months, except for summer and booking for them is available on the specific course, usually open one month ahead.

The training contains the following courses:

  • Part 1: Deployment and Sizing – Elementary Lesson
  • Part 2: Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics Lesson
  • Part 3: Security Lesson
  • Part 4: Application Performance Monitoring Lesson

Here are the steps for becoming a Kemp Certified Flowmon Technical Engineer:

  1. Review all four parts of the training videos mentioned above
  2. Register for practical exams to Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4
  3. After receiving all 4 certificates, you can download your Technical Engineer certificate.
