February 5th, 2014 [KEMP] NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired) - KEMP Technologies today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with ApliDigital , a value-added IT distributor in Brazil, continuing its rapid global expansion in the Application Delivery Controller (ADC) market. ApliDigital, which targets security and network communication, works with several leading information security and infrastructure solution providers in the region. Under this agreement, ApliDigital will include KEMP's LoadMaster line of software, virtual and hardware-based load balancers and support services in its ecosystem, providing its business customers with optimized application delivery and acceleration.
KEMP's load balancers intelligently manage user traffic and application availability for workloads such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Dynamics, Lync and many others to ensure application readiness and performance. The LoadMaster also offers content switching, SSL offloading, application health checking, session affinity, caching, compression, intrusion prevention, pre-authentication and single sign-on. In a multi-server environment, KEMP's LoadMaster is able to distribute network requests and balance traffic among servers in order to optimize functioning and accessibility, even if one server is decommissioned.
ApliDigital provides a range of products to its network of resellers, targeting industries including manufacturing, financial, telecom, government, academic, and healthcare. Through partnerships with manufacturers, ApliDigital is able to offer resellers best-in-breed products along with marketing services to meet the needs of business customers in Brazil. KEMP, as its only application delivery controller partner, enables a high-quality line of hardware and software to meet customer needs.
Francisco Gandin, CEO of ApliDigital, is confident in KEMP's load balancing products for his customers. "We had been receiving many requests from resellers for a load balancing portfolio that can support Microsoft applications and is certified by Microsoft. KEMP is able to optimize traffic and improve the response time of Microsoft Exchange, Lync, SharePoint and Windows Terminal Services (WTS), and also has close relationships with Cisco, Dell, Fujitsu and HP, which benefits resellers who are already working with these brands."
"ApliDigital is a good fit as a distributor for KEMP," notes Nuno Silveiro, KEMP Technologies area manager for Latin America. "Brazil is already a competitive market for ADCs, and KEMP values partners with both geographic and technical market knowledge. ApliDigital brings this, along with a strong portfolio of manufacturers and resellers."
