(NASDAQ: CAVM), a leading provider of semiconductor products that enable intelligent processing for enterprise, data center, wired and wireless networking, today announced collaboration with Kemp for its LiquidSecurity™ Hardware Security Module (HSM) family for next generation transaction security for cloud applications. This partnership enables seamless integration of the LiquidSecurity HSM family with Kemp’s Virtual LoadMaster™ (VLM) Series of Cloud ADCs.
The immediate result of this partnership is a tightly integrated solution for secure application delivery in heavily virtualized and cloud environments, providing dedicated key storage and accelerated security operations for deployed instances. Virtual LoadMaster enables customers to deliver application high availability, layer 7 load balancing, and traffic optimization in market-leading virtualized and cloud environments. By seamlessly integrating the LiquidSecurity HSM with Kemp’s VLM Series of Cloud ADCs, customers can rapidly expand their secure transaction capabilities in a cost-effective manner, leveraging private, public and hybrid cloud models.
The LiquidSecurity HSM product family provides a highly secure, high performance and cost efficient FIPS 140-2 Level 2 and 3 certified solution, which addresses the strict requirements of Enterprise and Government security applications, especially as they migrate to the cloud. This is the first time that a no-compromise, highly secure solution is being offered for these applications that easily integrates into the sophisticated networks of Public and Private Clouds. The LiquidSecurity HSM family is available both as an appliance and as a PCI Express Adapter bundled with software. Major applications for this product family include Virtual Private Clouds in the Public Cloud, Key Management as-a-Service, Database as-a-Service, Secure DNS, Crypto as-a-service and Payment Card Industry (PCI) appliances.
